About Our Breeding Program

At Central Valley German Shepherds, we're committed to breeding German Shepherds that exemplify the best qualities of the breed. Our goal is to breed high quality German Shepherds with an emphasis on temperament, intelligence and drive, over appearance and show features. Our dogs are best suited for working dogs, service animals, protection, or just family companions. We do not breed show dogs.

Our adult dogs are carefully selected based on several criteria:

• Health: All our dogs undergo comprehensive health testing including hip and elbow evaluations.
• Temperament: We prioritize balanced temperaments suitable for both family companions and working roles.
• Structure: Our dogs conform to the breed standard with excellent movement and proportions.
• Pedigree: We select dogs from distinguished bloodlines with proven performance.

These exceptional dogs form the foundation of our breeding program and produce puppies that inherit their outstanding qualities.
